Regional Supplier Forum

Similarly to previous years, the Municipality of Debrecen City and EDC Debrecen will organize its supplier forum this fall, expanding it to the regional level this year — in cooperation with the Hajdú-Bihar County Chamber of Commerce and Industry. 

This year, interested employees of small and large companies are expected at the event not only from Hajdú-Bihar but also from Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg and Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok counties. The date of the event, entitled Northern Great Plain Regional Supplier Forum 2025, is October 9, 2025, and the venue is the Nagyerdei Stadium in Debrecen.

The forum aims to help local small and medium-sized enterprises build supplier relationships with large companies by organizing, in addition to professional programs, specific, personal meetings between the procurement colleagues of these large companies and the SME managers participating in the event.

This year, the event is organized jointly with the Hajdú-Bihar Vármegyei Chamber of Commerce and Industry, with the support of Euroleasing Zrt. and Deloitte Hungary. Diamond Coaching & Development Kft. will assist the organizers in the professional organization of the forum and the preparatory event for SMEs preceding it.

On the morning of the event, similar to previous years, after the opening ceremony, professional presentations and panel discussions will be held on how SMEs can become suppliers and improve their efficiency. In the afternoon, rapid business introduction discussions will be organized between large corporate players and SME representatives, based on advance online appointments.

The organizers are looking forward to welcoming representatives of small and medium-sized enterprises from Hajdú-Bihar, Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg, and Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok counties to the forum.
