Catalyst Award 2026 – HBLF Business Award for Social Mobility
As a civil organization focusing on responsible and ethical leadership issues and a business network bringing together senior executives, HBLF periodically announces calls for applications on equal opportunity–related topics. In 2026, they are launching a call for applications titled Catalyst Award 2026 – HBLF Business Award for Social Mobility in two categories: for companies and for individuals.
1. CORPORATE CATEGORY
This category recognizes exemplary corporate programs that provide long-term support for the social and economic advancement and career development of people in disadvantaged situations (either the company’s own employees or groups/individuals outside the organization). (*)
The jury is looking for initiatives that demonstrate high impact, long-term commitment, or are based on innovative ideas.
Application deadline: 31 March 2026
(*) For example: internal career development programs that create opportunities for individuals to improve their social standing; long-term support for disadvantaged young people or adults in partnership with civil organizations; organizational preparation programs aimed at employing disadvantaged groups, etc.
2. INDIVIDUAL CATEGORY
The organization is looking for outstanding corporate professionals and leaders of the year who make a significant contribution to advancing social mobility and equal opportunities in the labor market. The jury seeks role models who go beyond their everyday responsibilities, create real impact, inspire others, and act as catalysts for change.
The application process consists of two steps:
- Nomination: by 31 March 2026
- Submission of the application: by 10 April 2026
In its evaluation, the jury will take into account both the nomination and the candidate’s application.
Award ceremony: 21. may 2026 – HBLF EgyüttHATÓ Festival
The EgyüttHATÓ Festival is a unique professional and community event.
Goal: Connect employers, employees, and civili society and promote a more just and inclusive labor market.
Guest of honor: His Excellency Jonathan Lacôte, French Ambassador to Budapest
