A new innovation platform has been launched
A new chapter begins in the development of the innovation ecosystem of the Northern Great Plain: on August 3, 2026, the Northern Great Plain Innovation Platform has been launched.
Its purpose is to give visibility to innovations implemented within the region’s enterprises, and to showcase in the long term those developments that contribute to the economic competitiveness of the region.
The platform was implemented as a joint initiative of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Hajdú-Bihar, Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg, and Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok Counties, as part of the Enterprise Development Project launched by the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Government of Hungary.
The “Innovator of the Northern Great Plain” professional initiative builds on the traditions of the nearly three-decade-old Northern Great Plain Innovation Award, while representing a new approach. The initiative not only provides a professional evaluation of outstanding innovations but also creates a continuously expanding digital knowledge base that showcases the region’s innovators, encourages the sharing of best practices, and promotes cooperation between enterprises.
On the platform, businesses can present their innovations in detail, and outstanding developments will appear on a public professional interface, increasing the visibility and professional recognition of the enterprises.
The Northern Great Plain Innovation Platform also provides the professional background for the Northern Great Plain Innovation Forum, which will be held in November 2026, helping the region’s innovation results reach the widest possible professional audience.
Discover the innovations of the region, and get to know the businesses that are shaping the future of the Northern Great Plain with their developments!
