In light of ongoing disturbances in global trade and the growing need for greater European autonomy, many EU businesses continue to face significant challenges. These include reorganising supply chains, identifying new suppliers, business partners or customers, and in some cases diversifying their product lines.

In this context, the Enterprise Europe Network is collecting SME feedback on current gaps and major disruptions in supply chains affecting European businesses via the permanent survey on supply chain disruptions. It is also important to assess the implications for global trade and the challenges reported by businesses related to the Strait of Hormuz.
