Vocational Training Reform Introduces Microcertificates
Recent legislative changes will allow Hungary’s vocational training system to adapt more swiftly to labor market demands through the introduction of microcertifications, the Ministry of Culture and Innovation said.
The latest amendment to the implementing decree of the Vocational Training Act marks a further step in building a more flexible, efficient, and market-driven vocational education framework, according to a statement by the ministry.
One of the central elements of the reform is the establishment of detailed rules for issuing vocational microcertificates, enabling faster and more targeted responses to economic shifts.
“The aim of the amendments is to enable the vocational training system to respond even more flexibly to the rapidly changing needs of the economy, and as a result, students can enter the labor market with modern, competitive knowledge,” said State Secretary for Higher Education, Vocational and Adult Training, and Youth Veronika Varga-Bajusz.
