The government is allocating 200 billion forints (EUR 574.1m) to funding the digital and technological development of micro, small and mid-size enterprises, a state secretary of the innovation and technology ministry said on Sunday.

SMEs with at least one completed business year under their belt will be eligible for grants between 10 and 630 million forints, provided that their planned projects meet certain requirements, László György said.

Applications for the first leg of GINOP Plusz-1.2.1-21 are accepted between June 12 and 19, with two further rounds planned for October 2021 and January 2022, Gyorgy said. The funding is earmarked primarily for technological development in production, services and information technology, as well as in infrastructure investments, he added.
